A truly dramatic scene, for those who know what's happening and who the hell are those two people.
I brushed off the dust from my fantasy vein and made this fanart for the awesome Order of the Stick [link] , a webcomic by Rich Burlew... I've been following it ever since... what, 2006? maybe even more, and yet, only now I muster up the guts to do fanart about it.

The occasion is strip #641, [link] where Vaarsuvius, androgynous elven wizard, faces his/her no less androgynous mate, Inkyrius, after 'selling' his/her soul to demons in order to save him/her and their adopted children from an angry Black dragon...
...and finds said mate terrified of him/her and trying -rather foolishly- to fend him/her off with a twig.

The whole arc is really touching and quite different from what the comic had been so far, since it's mostly a comedic/satyric comic... even more so because V had never before displayed such strong feelings... it made me so sad at the time... é_è

...anyway, here it is, Vaarsuvius and Inkyrius during their last meeting so far. <3
Lineart and coloring with Paint Tool Sai, a little bit of PS for some effects.

p.s. I'm sorry if the pronouns are confusing, but I don't have the slightest idea about which one is male or female, they could be both females or both males. Only the Giant knows the truth. XD

I mostly use Photoshop and Paint Tool Sai.. though it's been a while ever since I have colored something digitally.
